Barnacle Connect Wall Sconce
Barnacles is a symphony of hand-finished metal and delicate, pressed forms, Barnacles echoes organic clusters of marine barnacles enveloping a foreshore pier, illuminated by directional light.
Barnacles’ sconces are available in bronze with a choice of claret, ink or bronze ‘barnacles,’ or brass with white ‘barnacles,’ all moulded from reclaimed bird netting and bailing twine.
As each ‘barnacle’ form is hand-crafted by Davies using reclaimed materials, colours may vary subtly from website images. you will also see the artists’ touch in each piece – a mark of artisanal quality and the evolving dialogue between creator and creation. Similarly, metal finishes, particularly hand-rubbed bronze may vary in tone from mid to dark bronze.
