Seam—Convergence of Materiality

Seam explores the space between art and light, a collection of bespoke works that reclaims slow craftsmanship in a fast-paced world.

The seam, a quiet statement, celebrates the convergence of materials and the raw beauty that honours the marks of the maker’s hand—a refined union between raw brass and stainless steel, or a superb visible brass weld line.

Seam was conceived from the tension and exploration of merging metals and the unique outcome of each piece—a process of ‘anticipated distortion’. Each Seam; a quiet acknowledgment that beauty lies not only in the finished form, but in the process of making—shaped by hand and imbued with soul.

‘The Seam Collection is highly complex in its simplicity and reflects many iterations to achieve these works of art. Each design challenges our engineering, the materiality, and what we are asking of our makers.’
Nicci Kavals, Founder & Principle

‘Seam was conceived through a desire to create a collection that is completely one of a kind. Working with experienced makers who are unafraid to go beyond the expected, every piece emerges as a unique bespoke artwork—in every seam, there’s a story of the hands that shaped it.’
