Sands by McKimm is a residence of quiet strength and refined intent—where raw materiality and sculptural form converge to create a sanctuary that is both home and retreat.

The architecture is grounded in natural tones and organic textures, striking a balance between minimalism and meticulous detail. Travertine slab doors, sweeping curved façades, and a sculptural staircase anchor the home in a language of enduring elegance and thoughtful design. Articolo’s lighting plays a subtle yet expressive role within this narrative.

Above the kitchen island, the Scandal Long Pendant introduces a linear tension—its elongated silhouette and signature barrel-like cuff offering a counterpoint to the soft, curved lines that define the space.

In the dining area, a bespoke Fizi Multi-Drop Pendant becomes a luminous centerpiece. Each hand-blown sphere, alive with effervescent bubbles, captures and diffuses the light with quiet drama. Together, these pieces reflect the project’s commitment to craftsmanship, restraint, and elemental beauty.
