THE MAKERS MARK

Barnacles gives new life to Davies' distinctive barnacle-like forms, meticulously crafted by heating reclaimed bird netting and bailing twine into a malleable state and shaped by delicately pressing a smooth rock into its surface. The luminaire's robust, hand-finished metal casings are delicately layered with abundant arrays of hand-pressed 'barnacles,' offering organic arrangements reminiscent of marine barnacles enveloping piers on the foreshore.
