Barnacle Wall Sconce
Barnacles is a symphony of hand-finished metal and delicate, pressed form, Barnacles echoes organic clusters of marine barnacles enveloping a foreshore, illuminated by directional light.
Barnacles’ sconces are available in bronze with a choice of claret, ink or bronze ‘barnacles’, or brass with mid bronze ‘barnacles,’ all moulded from reclaimed bird netting and bailing twine.
As each ‘barnacle’ form is hand-crafted by Davies using reclaimed materials, colours may vary subtly from website images. You will also see the artist’s touch in each piece – a mark of artistic quality and the evolving dialogue between creator and creation. Similarly, metal finishes, particularly hand-rubbed bronze, may vary in tone from mid to dark bronze.
